With astonishing honesty, Couldn't Be Fairer depicts the alcoholism, racial violence and political oppression still facing Australia's Aboriginal people. The Film also profiles the work of Mick Miller, an Aboriginal activist who collaborated with director Dennis O'Rourke on the production and serves as the film's narrator. Using archival footage to give historical depth to scenes of contemporary desolation and abuse, Couldn't Be Fairer makes a hard-hitting statement about racial conflict. See also:
